Report an Absence
Pick Up My Child Early
After reporting your child's early pick-up (see above), you can pick them up in the school office. Check in at the visitor kiosk upon arrival. Assuming that they saw the absence report in advance, staff will have already brought your child to the office at the appropriate time. If not, office staff will call for your child. You will not be allowed to go to the classroom.
Pay My Bill
Invoices are generated on the first working day of the month and delivered by email. You may pay online via your Arux account with credit card or electronic transfer from a checking or savings account, or in person at the Early Childhood Center office with credit card, check, or cash (exact amounts only).
A $20 late fee is applied to each unpaid account on the day after the due date.
We encourage families to set up auto-pay in Arux, which automatically charges your credit card or transfers from your bank account on the due date. We can also set up split payments if more than one person will be paying for preschool. Please contact the office at 763-792-6120 for assistance.
Contact the classroom
The Seesaw mobile app is the preferred method for contacting your child's teacher with short messages. Instructions on joining the classroom Seesaw group will be given at the open house or sent home with your child.
For more in-depth conversations, we encourage you to email the teacher to set up a time for a phone call or in-person discussion. Teacher contact information is in the classroom-specific link in the August welcome newsletter or you can find email addresses in the Staff Directory. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
For emergency communications, please call the school office in case the class is at lunch or recess.
Address concerns about my child's progress/behavior/etc.
We want every child to have a successful preschool experience. If your child is having difficulty, please reach out to the teacher. You may also discuss concerns with Sara Ison (Centennial Preschool Coordinator) or Kelly Marquard (Early Childhood Specialist for Screening & Early Intervention) by calling 763-792-6120. We have a wide range of resources and interventions that can help.

School Meals
Student meals are free. Families can still apply for educational benefits (EBT) such as summer meals. Completing the EBT assists the district in qualifying for state and federal programs.
Full-day students in before-school Kids Club will eat breakfast in the cafeteria around 8:30 am. Other students will have the option of a grab-and-go breakfast that is eaten in the classroom. All students will eat lunch in the cafeteria. Families are always welcome to send a breakfast or lunch from home. Depending on the lunch schedule, students will be served a snack in the morning or afternoon (see below for more detail).
School Supply Lists
Sample school supply lists for preschool classes are listed below, by school/program. Please note that purchase of supplies is optional. Unless noted, supplies are communal; there is no need to label supplies with your child's name.
All preschoolers should come to school with a backpack large enough to hold a 9x12 folder, rest items, and a water bottle labeled with their name.

Parent Attendance Days
For classes with parent attendance days, we prefer a consistent person attend with each student. In the case of illness or a conflict, another adult may attend with the student. However, students are not allowed to attend on their own on parent attendance days. These days are specifically structured for parent-child activities, and the absence of an adult partner can be upsetting for students.
Parent attendance days begin the second full week of classes and end when ECFE classes end in May. (Field trips scheduled with parent attendance may occur after this date.) See our family handbook for parent participation guidelines.
If regular parent attendance becomes difficult, please inquire about availability in our afternoon class without parent participation.
