Preschoolers playing together

Registration for the 24-25 school year is open for remaining seats. More information here.

The Centennial School District provides high-quality part-day and full-day preschool experiences. Full-day classrooms are located at each of the elementary schools in the Centennial School District; part-day classrooms are at the Early Childhood Center.

All classes are taught by experienced early childhood teachers using curriculum and assessment tools approved by the State of Minnesota. Our preschool has earned a 4 Star Parent Aware Rating. Centennial Preschool follows the Centennial School District calendar.

Preschool classes are designed to prepare students and families for success in kindergarten, practicing both academic and social skills in a “learning-through-play” philosophy. Daily activities include large and small group instruction, learning centers (science, math, literacy, sensory, art, dramatic play), gym/playground time, music, and development of listening, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills.

Please find the 2024-25 Centennial Preschool brochure in English and Spanish and the link to the registration system on this page. If you are not able to access the brochure PDFs or would like us to mail you a paper copy of the brochure, please contact our main office at 763-792-6120 or at earlychildhood@isd12.org.

Early Childhood Screening

Has your child completed Early Childhood Screening? This is required of all Centennial Preschoolers (and all Minnesota students prior to kindergarten), so if your child is 3 or older now is the time! Screening is FREE and checks a child's health history, hearing, vision, and general development.
