Sixth grade students at Centennial Middle School were welcomed to their new school by staff and the Centennial High School pep band--an annual tradition on the first day of school. Students had the entire school to themselves on their first day to help ease the transition from elementary to middle school. It's an opportunity to learn everything about their new school, from their class schedule and opening their locker, to having lunch in the cafeteria and meeting new friends.
